It's not a long list, here we go
● Malaysia 14 days
I really had fun there, the people are kind and the prices are cheap. I only went to Kuala Lumpur though. The weather is hot there so I personally recommend going there in winter if you hate hot weather. I'd also recommend not visiting the country during the Hijri month Ramadan because eating between 6 AM to 5~7PM may offense the locals in some places.
Keep in mind that the drinking age is 21, although you won't be asked for an ID in tourist places. unless you have a baby face
● Lebanon 5 days
Went to Beirut, the city is small, which is considered a disadvantage by some. the weather is great and the people are more open-minded than people in Malaysia (by my experience). I think that Lebanese citizens aren't the friendliest though, again, this is just based on my personal experience.
● Syria 15 days
Believe it or not, I've been there just last year (2017), Damascus precisely. the security there is tight, but I had fun there. Not many speak English so you'd better have an acquaintance to help you with interacting with the locals. the city is cheap for tourists but it's considered expensive for the locals (low salaries). as it is one of the oldest cities (if not the oldest) in the world, it has a lot of sights that can amuse you. But be careful, you must always carry any legally required papers to ensure you don't get in troubles.
Wouldn't recommend traveling there this year considering the political issues with the US
● Jordan
Been there when I was a child, don't recall anything but just wanted to add it here :3
=========================================
as for the countries I'm planning to visit
● Russia
this October, St.Petersburg, I've heard a lot about this historic city, never had the chance to visit it; can't wait!
● Turkey
Istanbul and Trabzon. There's no specific date but I have many friends there and I've been invited by them, I'll be looking for the requirements later.
